Parking in Harrogate

When you book a self catering holiday in the UK especially in a town or city, one of the biggest things that can make or break that holiday is not having a parking space, where you can come and go with your car always knowing when you get back you can easily park your car and not have to drive miles away looking for a space that is not permit parking only or a pay and display car park which can cost a fortune.

When we bought Green View in Harrogate we had this problem, the apartment is so central that the only parking on offer was permit parking or a pay and display car park across the road, so what could we do to put this right.

We contacted Harrogate Council who were really helpful and we now have a parking permit for the apartment of which all of our guests who stay at Green View can use. It can be used anywhere that has a permit parking only sign and your car can be left there as long as you want or you can come and go with your car as much as you need, as long as the permit is displayed in the window you are fine.

Obviously  the permit came with a cost to ourselves but we are not going to pass this on to our guests, we just want to alleviate any stress and start your holiday off on the right foot. So when you are looking to book your next staycation, look for a parking space included in your holiday, it will make all the difference.
